PPPoker is the most widely used of the club apps we run clubs in, and its cash tables at low and mid limits share a consistent character: loose preflop, passive postflop, and multiway far more often than a standard online game.
Those three properties decide almost every adjustment worth making. A strategy built for a tough six-max pool will underperform here, not because it is wrong in the abstract, but because it is solving a problem this field does not present.
Open larger, especially early
A 2.5bb open from early position routinely gets three callers on these tables. Your raising range was built to play heads-up in position and instead plays four ways out of position, which is a losing structure regardless of the hands in it.
Open 3bb to 4bb from early and middle position, plus roughly a big blind for each player already in. The extra chips thin the field, and thinning the field is worth more than the chips risked. This is covered in more depth in our piece on open-raise sizing.
3-bet linear, and stop bluffing preflop
The pool calls 3-bets far too wide and 4-bets far too rarely. That removes the fold equity a polarised range depends on.
Use a linear range instead: your strongest hands widened downward, all of which are happy to be called. Suited wheel aces as 3-bet bluffs are a leak here, because they fold nothing out and then play a bloated pot with ace-high.
Value bet three streets, and size up
The single largest source of profit on these tables. Top pair with a decent kicker is a three-street value hand rather than a pot-control hand, and second pair is often a river value bet.
Use larger sizes than standard, two-thirds to three-quarters of the pot rather than a third. Somebody calling by default calls the larger size about as often, so the smaller one simply wins less.
Fold to river aggression
The counterweight, and it feels worse than it is. In a passive pool, a river bet or raise from a player who has been calling is value nearly every time.
Fold anything that only beats a bluff. You will occasionally be wrong and you will save considerably more over a month. The same logic applies to reading when a recreational player is actually bluffing, which is far less often than instinct suggests.
Adjust for multiway pots
Because so many pots go multiway, hand values shift in ways that catch out players arriving from heads-up-heavy games.
Ace-queen offsuit is strong against one opponent and mediocre against three. Suited connectors and pocket pairs gain value, because they make hands that hold up multiway. Top pair with a weak kicker loses value sharply, since somebody in a four-way pot usually has the better kicker.
Build your early-position range from hands that survive multiway rather than hands that want to be alone.
A worked hand

Open to 4bb rather than 2.5bb. At the smaller size this plays four ways, and AQo is a poor multiway hand. At 4bb it usually plays two or three ways, which is where it belongs.
Two players call. Flop is Qs 9h 4d. We bet 60% of the pot and get one caller.
Turn is the 2c. Bet again, around 65%. Against this pool, any queen and most pocket pairs continue, and checking here to control the pot wins nothing extra against opponents who were never folding.
River is the 7s. Bet a third time, around 65%. If instead they lead into us, we fold, because a passive player leading a river that changed nothing is not bluffing.

Two things worth knowing before you judge the games. Field softness varies by hour far more than most players expect, and it varies by union rather than by app, because your opponents come from the union your club belongs to. A club in a large union has games running when a club in a small one does not, on the same platform at the same moment.
The other is rake. At low limits the deal you play on is a real component of winrate rather than a bonus, which is why what you are paying and getting back is worth checking before concluding a limit is unbeatable.
