How to Make Money From Your Poker Players: Agent, Club, Union

You have 15, 40 or 150 people who play. Three ways to earn on them in club apps, the arithmetic per player per month with market benchmarks, and what breaks it.

If you already have people who play, you have the only thing in club poker that cannot be bought: the players. Everything else, the club, the tables, the union, the settlement, is infrastructure that exists to earn on them. There are three ways to do that, and the right one is decided by how many of your people actually sit down in a month. Up to about 15 real actives: be an agent in a good club. 20 to 50: run your own club inside a union. 100 and more: a club with sub-agents, or a seat at the union table. The arithmetic is the same at every level: active players, times rake per player, times your share.

The one number that decides everything

Rake per active player per month. It depends on the stake, the game and the hours a player puts in, so nobody can give you one figure, but the market has a range. Published estimates for club apps put an engaged regular who plays 15 to 25 hours a week at roughly 60 to 120 dollars of rake a month, a high-volume mid-stakes hold'em player above 150, and a low-stakes recreational Omaha player at 40 to 70. A union calculator we have seen uses 25 dollars a month as a default for the average active, which is closer to what a mixed base of weekend players produces. On the table side, independent rake models put NL10 at about 8 to 10 big blinds per 100 hands and NL25 at 6 to 8, with the standard 5 percent and a cap of 3 big blinds.

Take those as market estimates from people who sell something, not as our numbers. The honest way to get your own figure is one week in a club with the club statistics open: the app shows rake per player, and one normal week times four is your month.

Three roads by the size of your base

Your activesThe roadWhat you earn onWhat you take on
up to 15Agent in an existing clubYour share of the club band on your players' rake, agreed with the ownerA deposit with the club, chips on your agent balance, deposits and withdrawals in chat, being reachable at their hours
20 to 50Your own club in a unionThe club band itself: up to 87 percent of rake on our terms, by platform, minus what you pass to players as rakebackA refundable union deposit, a schedule, limits, settlement every week, an agent who does not sleep when your players play
100 and moreA club with sub-agents, or your own union seatThe band on the whole club, with sub-agents paid out of itEverything above, plus a manager, security process, and the float to pay withdrawals before the weekly statement lands

Moving between rows is a conversation with the union, not a restart. Most people should start one row lower than they think.

The arithmetic on a month

Formula: actives × rake per active per month × your share = your gross. Three worked examples at a deliberately modest 40 dollars of rake per active, below the market estimates above, so the result is a floor rather than a pitch.

BaseActivesRake generatedRoadYour share of rakeGross per month
Home game and chat12480 $agent, 25 percent of rake after player rakeback25%120 $
Live club regulars401,600 $own club, 85 percent band, 40 percent passed to players as rakeback45%720 $
Community, 1501506,000 $own club with sub-agents, 85 percent band, 40 to players, 10 to sub-agents35%2,100 $

Double the rake per active to the mid-market 80 dollars and every line doubles. The share column is where the real decisions live: what you pass back to players is what keeps them, and what you keep is your income. An agent who keeps everything has no players; one who gives everything away has no business.

A live club in an app

The most underused base in poker is the live card room. Its regulars already trust the room, already play together, already settle in the same currency, and they go home at 2 AM to play somewhere else online. A club in a club app with the live room's name, the same limits and a chip in the players' own currency keeps that rake with the room instead of sending it to a licensed site. The live schedule does not change; the app fills the hours between sessions. Inside a union the online tables are full even when only five of your regulars are online, because the union lobby is shared. That is the whole case: your players, your brand, your chip, our tables.

Chats, coaches, streamers

A Telegram group, a coaching stable or a stream audience is a base where players trust a person, not a venue. That is the agent model in its purest form: you bring them, you hold their balance, you pay their rakeback, and your name is the reason they deposit. The number that matters here is not the rake share but the rakeback you offer, because your audience will compare it to what they read elsewhere. Promise it only after your first statement, when you know what the band returns on real volume.

What breaks the model

  • Promising a rakeback number before seeing a statement. Your players will hold you to it when the arithmetic says otherwise.
  • Mixing player balances with your own money. Keep them separate from the first deposit.
  • A club with no union. Tables fill one hour a day, players leave, and your base finds another agent within a month.
  • Spreading 12 players across three apps. Twelve players on one app are a table; four on each of three are nothing.
  • Disappearing. A withdrawal answered in ten minutes keeps a player for years; one answered tomorrow trains them to look elsewhere.

How to start this week

Write down your actives: people who will sit down this month, not everyone who ever played with you. Pick the row in the table above. Send the app your players know, the number of actives, the games and the hours to a union and ask for the numbers in writing: the band, the rakeback you can pass on, the settlement day, the deposit. A written answer within one working day is the standard we hold ourselves to; anything slower, anywhere, tells you how the settlements will go.

FAQ

How much can a poker agent make with 30 players?

Depends on the rake they generate and your share. At a modest 40 dollars of rake per active per month and a 25 percent share after player rakeback, 30 actives are about 300 dollars a month; at the mid-market 80 dollars it is 600. Your own club on an 85 percent band changes the share, not the formula.

Can I move my live poker game online?

Yes, as a club in a club app with your room's name, your limits and a chip in your players' currency. Inside a union the online tables are shared, so your regulars have games even when only a few of them are online.

How do poker club owners make money?

From the club's share of rake, the band, which on our terms runs up to 87 percent by platform. Out of that the owner pays agents and player rakeback and keeps the rest.

Do I need my own club to earn on my players?

Not below about 15 actives. An agent seat in an existing club earns a share of the club band on your players' rake with no club to run. A club becomes worth it when 20 to 50 real actives follow you.

How much rake does one poker player generate a month?

Market estimates for club apps run from about 25 dollars for an average weekend active to 60 to 120 for a regular playing 15 to 25 hours a week. The only number that matters is your own, and one week with the club statistics open gives it to you.
