When a room beats a club, and when it does not
We make our money from clubs, so treat what follows with the appropriate suspicion and then check it yourself. There are real cases where a room is the better seat, and pretending otherwise would only cost us the trust of anyone who has played in both.
A room wins on scale and on formality. Twenty-four tables on a desktop client is routine there and impossible on a phone. The operator holds your balance under its own licence, so nobody stands between you and your money. Tournament series run to a published schedule months ahead. If you are a high-volume grinder who wants software, structure and a lobby that never empties, that is a genuinely better product than anything a club can offer.
A club wins on economics and on who is sitting with you. The percentage coming back to you is negotiated rather than published, and it is higher. The field is chosen: a union can remove a bot ring or a colluding pair in a day, where a room needs a security case. Withdrawals go through an agent in minutes instead of a payment queue. And the difference compounds, because rake paid back monthly at a low limit is often larger than the edge separating a winning player from a break-even one.
You multi-table heavily on a desktop, you want the operator to hold your funds under its own licence, you play scheduled tournament series, or you simply prefer not to deal with anybody to move money.
You play mostly cash, on a phone, at limits where rake decides your win rate, and you would rather have someone accountable for the field you sit in and for how fast you get paid.

What is the difference between a poker room and a club app?
A room holds your money itself and seats you against its entire player base through a desktop client. A club app seats you inside a private club, so your opponents come from that club's union, and an agent handles your deposits, cash-outs and rakeback. The room is the more formal arrangement; the app is the more negotiable one.
Which poker room has the softest games?
Softness follows the field, not the brand. PokerKing and TigerGaming carry American and Canadian recreational traffic. GGPokerOK has by far the largest cash volume, which brings both the most amateurs and the most regulars. 888poker draws casino crossover players. Can I use a HUD or tracker in these rooms?

Should I play in a poker room or in one of your clubs?

Play in one of our clubs if you want a negotiated percentage back, a field the union actively polices, and settlement through a person who answers you. Volume players often do both, on different days.
How do I get the best rakeback deal in a poker room?
Register through an affiliate rather than directly. The room pays a share of your rake to whoever brought you, and a serious affiliate returns most of it.
